The curly Sleepyhead logo has been replaced by the more modern DockATot logo. So we talked through their similarities, what about the differences? Well it’s pretty obvious on this pristine white version. What’s difference between Sleepyhead Deluxe Plus Pod? As you’d expect, both versions come with a mattress, which is nice and firm to support your little one’s back. Having spent a good new moments touching and squeezing the DockATot Deluxe Dock, I can confirm that the rounded ends of the Dock feel just as lovely as they did on the Sleepyhead. And in terms of the new name for Sleepyhead? Well, you ‘dock’ your phone, so why not your baby?! We can see what DockATot did with the name, anyway! So it’s far superior to placing a few rolled-up towels on the bathroom floor. The soft mattress and rounded ends make a little nest for your baby to lie in. The Pod/Dock make ideal places to pop your baby down for a little tummy time, tickle time – or even a nappy change. Why buy a Sleepyhead Deluxe Plus Pod or a DockATot? In terms of the comfort factor those lovely rounded bumpers that we saw on the Sleepyhead still feel great on the Dock. They’re exactly the same, nothing to differentiate them. In terms of baby’s lying area and the exterior of the Pod and the Dock. You can see that they both have these quick relief clasps at the end, which allow you to create more wiggle room when placing your baby in the Sleepyhead or the Dock. Right, let’s take a tour of the Pod and the Dock from top to bottom or bottom to top. There are obviously more robust carry accessories available too. So now that we’ve looked at the back and the facts and stats let’s open them up and see how they compare for their look and feel.īoth of the Dock and the Pod come with this plastic holder which is kind of useful if you want to transport your pod. So, you know that it’s going to be made from breathable fabrics. They’re both lightweight and portable and they both have compliance to BS4578 for air permeability. Consequently there’s no differences in terms of the ages. It says that the pods and the Dock are multi-cute and multi-functional and suitable for zero to eight months. As you can see, they both have this strap line. So before we get into the packaging, I thought it would be useful just to compare what the brands both say on the reverse of the product. And open it up, and we’ll do the same with a Sleepyhead. So let’s take off the little bit here with some scissors. So both the Deluxe Plus Pod and the DockATot Dock come in the same plastic cover, which is a nice sturdy packaging. Its new name is the DockATot Deluxe+ Dock. Under Sleepyhead, this is known as the Sleepyhead Deluxe Plus Baby Pod. These are the ones for babies 0-8 months. ![]() The first two products under the microscope are the Deluxe pods/docks.
